Freeman Notary Services, is a mobile notary service so we can meet you almost anywhere to notarize your documents. Appointment locations include mortgage closings, hospitals, jails, place of employment, law offices, insurance companies, restaurants, and airports, to name a few. For your protection, our notaries carry the official Georgia Commission – issued to authorized notaries - and photo ID (drivers’ license) at all times. We will provide our business card and a receipt for payment at the completion of each transaction. It is rare, but there are times when we cannot notarize as requested. We require that the document NOT be signed prior to our arrival, or resigned if already signed. We cannot provide “notarization via fax” as personal appearance by the signor is always required. We also must decline to pre/post date document notarizations. Please understand the distinction between the document date and the notarization date. The document date is the effective date of the document and is of no concern to the notary. The notarization date is the actual date the signor appears before the notary and must be accurately reflected on the document. As representatives of the Georgia Secretary of State
and the National Notary Association, we take our function very seriously.
